To help you minimise the chance of a negative reaction, we list all ingredients on our website and product.
If you are new to Ink Nurse, we recommend that you follow the instructions below for a self patch test.
* Use the inside of your wrist as a starting point. It's thinner than the rest of your body skin. The side of the neck is another good option to check for compatibility.
* Apply a small amount of the product to one of these areas.
* Cover the area with a bandage.
If after 24 hours, you don't see any reaction, then you're fine with the product.
OR:
You can try a small amount on the inside of your elbow, cover it. In 24 hours rinse it off and apply again. Repeat this process for 7 days. If no reactions are seen, you should be ok with this product.
Apart from a patch test, ALWAYS listen to your artist or professional’s advice, if applying to a brand new tattoo. The industry recommendation is to wait until next day, after your tattoo has been washed and cleaned, BEFORE applying any type of product. Remember, a fresh tattoo is an open wound and therefore very delicate.
